.....Il Reverendo Don Jean Berchmans Turikubwigenge ha varcato la soglia del Duomo di San Jacopo preceduto dagli sbandieratori. Al suo fianco, il nostro Pievano e Parroco Don Fiorenzo Toti lo ha introdotto con affetto ai tanti fedeli presenti, riuniti in attesa di questo momento speciale.

.....   Throughout his forty-five years of priesthood, Don Fiorenzo has come to know and walked alongside every family in our community. He has seen four generations of my own extended family pass by, as with so many other households, forming a deep andC unbreakable bond.

.....Da oltre cinquant’anni gestiva il suo bel negozio di abbigliamento, posizionato in Via Cavour, la strada principale del paese. Era conosciuta da tutti, vicini e lontani. 

...... I remember how often her shop was bustling with people, and how her advice was valued by all her customers. Every man and woman in town bought something from her at least once.

LE NOZZE D'ARGENTO

.....Un giorno inatteso arriva quell’annuncio.

«Mamma, mi sposo!» esclama la figlia con un grande sorriso.

La mamma la guarda e con gli occhi pieni di tenerezza le chiede: «Quando?».

«Abbiamo deciso per il primo settembre, nella chiesa di Santa Lucia.»

.....The air in that place was scented with wildflowers—a perfect moment to read my warmest wishes to them, which I was deeply moved.
