.....Non ho conosciuto la mia Nonna paterna. Nata 1898, se ne andò prima che io nascessi, lasciandomi però in eredità il suo nome.

     I still remember their joyful smiles when my husband and I got engaged. Perhaps they were moved by my young age, because I received so much affection and cuddles from these two women, and I’m happy that my children also knew their great-grandmothers, even if only for a few years.
